I was made in 1982.
My favorite Muppet is Sam Eagle.
My first concert was Debbie Gibson. My first drive-in movie was a double bill, 'Harry and The Hendersons' followed by 'Innerspace.'
Nothing beats fresh chocolate chip cookies, but S'mores sure do try.
I have a terrible compulsion to draw. I have erased-through, torn, and screamed at thousands of pieces of paper in my life. As a kid, I once went so mental over a botched piece that my mother said I wasn't allowed to draw for a week.
I accredit whatever menial skills I possess to comics and an early adoration of Shel Silverstein. I don't have a formal art education. Mark Kistler, my father, and Dottie Brown at Sierra College taught me everything the first two didn't. The rest is just guesswork. My work has appeared in UPSO's FAESTHETIC magazine and on a bunch of albums and t-shirts for the weirdo rock band, TERA MELOS (Sargent House Records). I've also done a few t-shirts for both LANGHORNE SLIM AND THE LAW and FRONTIER RUCKUS (Ramseur Records). Most recently, I did the storyboards and character designs for Sony's award-winning web series, ISSUES.
"Creative work is often driven by pain. It may be that if you don't have something in the back of your head driving you nuts, you may not do anything. It's not a good arrangement. If I were God, I wouldn't have done it that way." -Cormac McCarthy
